By purchasing a membership into the consortium, you are agreeing to pay $50 by the final deadline of March 1st, 2025. Please only sign up if you intend to pay the full amount by the deadlines listed in the consortium agreement.
All tiers receive:
Rights to perform all materials included in the selected pricing package within the period of exclusivity (July 14th, 2025, through July 1st, 2026)
All applicable materials as digital copies. Hard copies available at a reduced price.
Reduced pricing for all materials not included within the selected pricing package.
Complete Student: $50
Trails for clarinet and piano with alternate parts for auxiliary clarinets.
Consortium Agreement
By purchasing one of the Consortium Packages, you agree to the following:
• You agree to pay the first half of the total amount by September 1st, 2024, and the second half by January 1st, 2025.
• You are entitled to one year of exclusive performance rights of the new work (July 14th, 2025, through July 1st, 2026), shared with the other consortium members.
• You agree not to share the sheet music you receive with anyone else, other than with pianists you perform with.
• You agree that the Composer (Nadine B. Silverman) retains all intellectual property rights to the composition.
• As long as the piece is completed on time to the agreed upon specifications, you may not request any refunds, even if you don’t like the piece and/or never perform it.
• If the composition is not delivered by the deadline of April 1st, 2025, or does not meet the agreed upon specifications, you are entitled to a full refund of your purchase.
• The Composer retains the right to change any working titles presented in this commissioning agreement.
• You agree to notify the composer in advance of any plans to perform the work within the period of exclusivity (July 14th, 2025, through July 1st, 2026), and grant the Composer permission to publicize your performance(s) as they see fit.
• If a recording is made of your performance (audio or video), you are strongly encouraged to share it with the Composer.
• While it is encouraged that you perform the work during the period of exclusivity (July 14th, 2025, through July 1st, 2026), you are not required to do so.
• After July 1st, 2026, you are free to perform the work as you like, but no longer retain any exclusivity to it.
• If you have any questions or concerns about the process, you agree to address them forthrightly and respectfully with the Composer.
