Whispers & Revels  explores the sonic contrast of various sections within the wind ensemble through the use of each instrument’s unique characteristics and strengths. The piece begins with soft woodwinds and gradually grows and evolves into a fun and somewhat chaotic celebration with irregular metric grooves and technical passages. Whispers & Revels  showcases the wind ensemble’s skill and versatility in creating a vast array of textures and images.
